Dr. Richard Simpson is a Specialist Colorectal Surgeon at Gosford Hospital, Gosford Private Hospital and Brisbane Waters Private Hospital. Dr. Simpson completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of NSW in 1989. He completed training in General Surgery at Gosford, John Hunter and Concord Hospitals. He subsequently completed a Master of Surgery degree at University of Sydney and engaged in further training at Austin Hospital, Melbourne and Concord Hospital through the Post-Fellowship Training Program of the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand. Kelvin has a special interest in laparoscopic colorectal surgery in the treatment of colorectal cancer and inflammatory bowel disease.
