Dr. Joseph Norris, Orthopedic Surgery, Bloomington IL

Dr. Norris is a board certified orthopedic surgeon and a fellow in the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery (AAOS). He started his education at Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington. He is graduated from Illinois Wesleyan Magna Cum Laude and received his bachelor’s degree in Biology and continued his medical education and residency program at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. During his residency he was honored with Resident Teacher of the Year in Surgery and 3 Excellences in Teaching Awards. He then finished his Fellowship in Sports Medicine with Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland where he served as associate team physician for the Baltimore Ravens and Johns Hopkins lacrosse.

Dr. Norris is an Associate Master instructor, associate professor at Illinois State University. He treats all types of orthopedic conditions and focuses on sports-related injuries and arthroscopic surgery. He is certified to perform Cartilage Restoration with autologous chondrocyte implantation.
