The Capital Specialist Imaging opened its new MRI service in February 2011. The state-of-the-art high definition magnetic resonance system, the GE Signa® 1.5T HDe now provides doctors and physiotherapists with highly detailed images of anatomy and pathology. The MRI is complemented by our existing X-ray service.
The Capital Specialist Imaging provides expert MRI scanning for all musculoskeletal conditions, as well as neurological investigations for conditions such as pituitary and brain lesions. The team of reporting radiologists led by Dr Phil Lucas has extensive musculoskeletal MRI experience.
Co-located with Canberra Specialist Surgical Centre the new service completes our inclusive approach to the management of musculoskeletal conditions, enabling our doctors to provide a complete and immediate musculo-skeletal service to their patients, all under the one roof.
The MRI is unlicensed and available to all Doctors and Physiotherapists.
