Personal Statement
I am a friendly, out going and social person who is a team player as well as a leader. I am honest, responsible, diligent, organized, and reliable. I chose medicine as a career because I want to be part of something dynamic, where I never stop learning new and interesting things. As a surgeon I enjoy the balance of scientific, personal and practical skills required. I am keen to continue developing subspecialty interests in upper gastrointestinal surgery with a particular interest in clinical and academic hepatopancreaticobiliary (HPB) and transplant surgery.
