Dr. Harvinderpal Singh received his medical degree from Texas A & M University, where he graduated with honors and was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He completed his Surgical Residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, as well as a Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery and Minimally Invasive Robotic Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and received his Board Certification from the American Board of Surgery.

Dr. Singh's previous teaching appointments from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston include Clinical Instructor of Surgery and Assistant Professor of Surgery. Dr. Singh is active in the medical research community and has presented his work at the Southwestern Surgical Conference and the Society of American Gastrointestinal Surgeons Annual Meeting.
