Dr. Saliman is a sports medicine and arthroscopy-trained orthopaedic surgeon maintaining an active practice at the Cedars-Sinai Orthopaedic Center in Los Angeles, California. He specializes in joint-preserving treatment of injuries to the shoulder, hip and knee.

Dr. Saliman completed a sports medicine fellowship at Stanford University / SOAR in Palo Alto where he provided care for the San Francisco 49ers and for the Stanford University and Santa Clara University athletic teams. His residency in orthopaedic surgery was completed at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center of Columbia University in New York City. He earned his medical degree at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in his hometown of Denver.

Dr. Saliman invented a revolutionary meniscus repair device for which he founded the start-up Ceterix Orthopaedics, Inc. with top Bay Area medical venture partners. He has significant experience in using the device to repair tears that have been classically considered difficult or impossible to repair.
