Robert J. Valenzuela is a board certified urologist in New York City. For the past ten years he served as clinical instructor of urology at NY-Presbyterian Hospital. He specializes in the treatment and management of sexual dysfunction including erectile dysfunction, urinary incontinence and implantation of prosthetic devices. He is one of the most prolific implanters of penile prosthesis, artificial urinary sphincters and male slings in the Northern Manhattan region.
His clinical practice is specifically geared towards the treatment and management of urological conditions of the Hispanic community. Dr Valenzuela is a Diplomat of the American Board of Urology, a member of the American Urological Association, the Hispanic Medical Association and the Dominican Medical Association. He is a graduate of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and completed his training at the Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. For the past ten years he has been Clinical Professor at the Squire Urological Clinic at NY-Presbyterian Hospital of Columbia University and training urology residents.
