  2. Having read this resume/curriculum vitae of Dr Matthew Christopher Lyons and numerous adverse reviews online and verbally, and having heard of his unpopularity with his work, school colleagues and acquaintances, I am deeply concerned and sadly distressed and I therefore query our Society’s over-education, over-qualification, over-expenditure and over-expense of this bland, vague and highly ineffectual effluent medical student/doctor in comparison to the far more talented, disadvantaged and less effluent medical students/doctors trying to get the same education and job rights as Dr Lyons.

I am also very concerned socially, morally and ethically as to how Dr Matthew Christopher Lyons could take advantage of scholarships that were specifically designed for such less effluent and well-off medical students/doctors who were not rich enough to attend the private schoolings of the auspicious St Ignatius College at Riverview.

I voice a general distaste and disquiet for such nepotism, snobbery and cronyism and would suggest that you not be supportive of Dr Matthew Christopher Lyons.

I would not recommend him for any medical appointment, position or to any medical patient under whatsoever circumstances.

    Thanking you.

    1. You are most welcome!
Also, you will find this individual to be extremely rude, nasty, arrogant, vindictive and obnoxious. Avoid him completely. Find another specialist. Good luck and take care.

  4. I recently consulted Dr Matthew Christopher Lyons, a very young and inexperienced orthopaedic surgeon in his mid 30’s, whilst under the supervision of the more experienced Dr Mervyn Cross at Crows Nest and Dr Michael O'Sullivan, also orthopaedic surgeons, for very serious hip & knee surgery. Found all 3 to be rough as guts, consulted like amateurish part-timers on work experience, arrogant, obnoxious, absent-minded, petty-minded, foolish, leering, sweaty, unhygienic strong bad odours from their butts and under-arms, lacked empathy, completely computer illiterate, totally uninterested in me and, finally, all 3 doctors were more concerned with calls & text messages they were receiving on their mobile phones which they left in the ‘on’ mode instead of turning them off or putting in the ‘silent’ mode, and which they continually answered or replied to even whilst I was in consultation with them and whilst I was talking to them. They were also more interested in what each other did last weekend at the GPS private schools’ rugby competition and other social upper-class chitchat, instead of concentrating on my problems. They had no idea where to start or even what to do. It was a total waste of time. They then charged me like a wounded bull without any remorse, compassion, concessional pensioner’s rate or discount. Totally wasted my hard-earned dough without any useful or fruitful outcome or medically useful assistance coming out of the consultation. See another more reputable and experienced orthopaedic surgeon who works unsupervised like I eventually did.
