Michael Carlson

Michael J. Carlson, MD graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brigham Young University and then attended medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed a 5-year Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the University of Nebraska/Creighton Health Foundation. During his residency and fellowship he served as the team physician for many team sports. He completed a top sports and arthroscopy fellowship from the renowned Southern California Orthopedic Institute (SCOI), pioneers in minimally invasive surgical techniques where he focused on arthroscopy of the shoulder, knee, hip, elbow and ankle. During his fellowship, he published his research in scientific journals and has since presented his research at a number of national meetings. He and his wife currently have four children and are glad to be back in the Utah Valley area and a part of Central Utah Clinic.
