Mr Dirk van Bavel is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon specialised in hip and knee surgery. He is trained in advanced knee surgery, primary and revision hip surgery as well as primary and revision knee arthroplasty.

I completed my medical degree in 1995 through the university of Melbourne, including winning the Neil Bromberger prize in Orthpaedics

FRACS (Orth)

I completed my surgical training in 2004 through the Victorian and Tasmanian training programme. I won the Registrar in Training prize in 2003

I have recently completed this through the University of Cardiff.
