Dr Sanjeev Gupta specialises in surgery of the lower limb. He has particular interest in joint replacement surgery (hip and knee), knee arthroscopy, and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle.
He graduated from the University of Sydney in 1999, and completed his Orthopaedic Training in Sydney. Following this, he completed multiple subspecialty Orthopaedic Fellowships at world leading institutions. He has trained in Baltimore (Mercy Hospital), New York (Hospital for Special Surgery), and Boston (Harvard).
Dr Gupta has co-authored numerous publications, and is involved in clinical research. He is also a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sydney, and is actively involved in teaching of medical students and Orthopaedic Registrars.
Dr Gupta is a faculty member of the AO Trauma Association, and regularly travels overseas as an International guest speaker.
Dr Gupta is married, with 2 children. Away from work, he enjoys skiing, golf, and tennis. He has had a long involvement with Sydney University Hockey, having previously played First Grade, and now enjoying time in the Veterans Competition.
