Australian Defence Force

I am a Captain in the Australian Defence Force (ADF) Army Reserves and a contractor to the ADF. As a member of the Army Reserves, I regularly complete service and training exercises and have been deployed overseas.

Teaching Commitments

    I am a senior clinical lecturer for both the University of New South Wales and the University of Western Sydney. I also supervise medical students on rotation attached to my unit.
    I am the supervisor of training of Junior Resident Medical Officers (JRMO) at Fairfield Hospital, whom I train in specialised training sessions every year.
    I have lectured at the Australian Orthopaedic Nurses Association at various times.
    I train orthopaedic registrarsat Fairfield and Liverpool Hospitals. This involves teaching at Departmental meetings on ward rounds and in the theatres.
    I travel overseas to train surgeons in South East Asia and the Indian subcontinent.
