Texas Orthopaedic Surgical Associates

Jason K. Lowry, MD
Hip, Knee & Shoulder Surgeon

I am here to serve you! My goal is to deliver high quality, evidence-based orthopaedic care to get you back on your feet and enjoying life again. Your road to recovery cannot be done alone. As your Orthopaedic Surgeon, I see myself as the coach of OUR team, which includes you (the patient), your family, therapists, nurses, & physician assistants. My main focus is to educate you about your symptoms, diagnoses & treatment options, so you can make informed decisions about your health care. Non-operative management with a team-based approach is successful for the majority of your orthopaedic pain. However, when surgery is the only option, I feel fortunate to have learned and trained under leaders in the field of joint preservation, replacement & revision. As such, my approach is based on sound, surgical fundamentals that incorporate newer methods in joint preservation techniques & tissue-sparing technologies to hasten your recovery, decrease your pain, & decrease the risk of surgery. I am passionate about the anterior approach for hip replacement because it can decrease your hospital stay, which dramatically decreases postoperative risk. I am honoured to be associated with Dr. Phil Berry in offering this procedure to our patients at Methodist. I look forward to continuing his tradition of excellence by always being available to you (my patients) and giving you a new lease on life.
